Abstract
Era digital saat ini, kemampuan literasi digital dan keterampilan public speaking angat penting dalam menyampaikan ide dan berkomunikasi dengan efektif. Namun, banyak remaja yang kurang memiliki pemahaman yang baik akan ini. Pengabdian ini menggunakan konsep Paul Gilster dan Lasswell dimana literasi digital yang memungkinkan masyarakat untuk memproses informasi secara kritis, memahami pesan yang disampaikan, dan berkomunikasi secara efektif sebagai dengan tujuan mempengaruhi, mendidik, memberikan penjelasan, dan informasi kepada masyarakat dengan feedback sebagai alat ukur pemahaman audience. Metode pengabdian ini adalah Aksi Partisipatif (Participatory Action Research/PAR) yaitu pendekatan untuk pembelajaran dalam menangani masalah dan memenuhi kebutuhan praktis masyarakat, juga menghasilkan pengetahuan. Metode ini melibatkan kolaborasi antara peneliti dan peserta penelitian dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi intervensi atau tindakan konkret untuk memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh komunitas atau kelompok tertentu.
In today's digital era, digital literacy skills and public speaking abilities are crucial for effectively conveying ideas and communicating. However, many teenagers lack a solid understanding of these aspects. This dedication employs concepts from Paul Gilster and Lasswell, where digital literacy enables individuals to critically process information, understand conveyed messages, and communicate effectively with the aim of influencing, educating, providing explanations, and disseminating information to the public, using feedback as a measure of audience understanding. The methodology employed in this dedication is Participatory Action Research (PAR), an approach to learning that addresses practical community issues and needs while generating knowledge. This method involves collaboration between researchers and research participants in planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions or concrete actions to solve problems faced by specific communities or groups.
