Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi dan mengembangkan manajemen Masjid Al Hasyimi sebagai pusat spiritual dan intelektual bagi Mahasantri Pesantren Mahasiswa Institut Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor. Menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), penelitian ini melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan, termasuk pengurus masjid, mahasantri, dan dosen. Proses pendampingan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan fungsi masjid sebagai pusat pembinaan spiritual dan intelektual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen Masjid Al Hasyimi dapat ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan kepemimpinan, pengelolaan kegiatan keagamaan, serta penyediaan fasilitas belajar yang memadai. Masjid berperan penting dalam mendukung pengembangan potensi Mahasantri melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti kajian Quran dan kitab kuning, diskusi ilmiah, serta program pembinaan karakter. Pendekatan PAR terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan rasa memiliki dan tanggung jawab di kalangan mahasantri, sehingga mereka lebih aktif terlibat dalam pengelolaan masjid. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dengan manajemen yang baik, Masjid Al Hasyimi dapat berfungsi secara optimal sebagai pusat spiritual dan intelektual, mendukung tujuan pendidikan holistik di Pesantren Mahasiswa Insitut Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor. Peningkatan kapasitas pengelolaan masjid tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas spiritual Mahasantri, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pengembangan intelektual mereka, menciptakan generasi yang unggul dan berintegritas.
This research aims to assist and develop the management of the Al Hasyimi Mosque as a spiritual and intellectual center for students of the Islamic Boarding School of Institut Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, this research involves active participation from all stakeholders, including mosque administrators, students, and lecturers. The mentoring process includes needs identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at improving the mosque's function as a center for spiritual and intellectual development. The results showed that the management of Al Hasyimi Mosque can be improved through leadership training, management of religious activities, and provision of adequate learning facilities. The mosque plays an important role in supporting the development of student potential through various activities such as Quran and yellow book studies, scientific discussions, and character building programs. The PAR approach has proven effective in creating a sense of belonging and responsibility among the students, so that they are more actively involved in the management of the mosque. This study concludes that with good management, Al Hasyimi Mosque can function optimally as a spiritual and intellectual center, supporting holistic education goals at the Ummul Quro Al-Islami Insitut Student Boarding School in Bogor. Increased mosque management capacity not only improves the spiritual quality of the students, but also contributes to their intellectual development, creating a generation of excellence and integrity.
