Abstract

Di dalam konteks pembelajaran di sekolah, peserta didik sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan akademik. Ini termasuk pengaturan waktu yang efektif, pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang tepat, dan penyelesaian tugas-tugas sekolah secara konsisten. Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah prokrastinasi akademik, di mana siswa cenderung menunda-nunda penyelesaian tugas-tugas yang diberikan oleh guru (Lase, 2020). Prokrastinasi ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti kurangnya keterampilan manajemen waktu dan motivasi yang kurang untuk menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman guru dalam mengatasi prokrastinasi akademik di kalangan siswa kelas VI SDN 2 Kawasen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk mendalami perspektif guru dan dampak dari penerapan metode study outdoor dalam mengurangi prokrastinasi akademik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Guru di SDN 2 Kawasen menunjukkan pengalaman positif dalam menerapkan metode study outdoor untuk mengatasi prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa kelas VI. Metode ini terbukti meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan keterlibatan siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas akademik mereka tepat waktu. Guru-guru menerapkan berbagai strategi untuk memanfaatkan metode ini dalam mengatasi prokrastinasi akademik, termasuk melalui kegiatan yang menarik dan relevan dengan materi pelajaran.


In the learning context at school, students often face various academic challenges. This includes effective time management, choosing appropriate learning methods, and consistent completion of school assignments. One of the main challenges faced is academic procrastination, where students tend to delay completing assignments given by the teacher (Lase, 2020). This procrastination can be influenced by various factors such as lack of time management skills and lack of motivation to complete tasks on time. This research aims to explore teachers' experiences in overcoming academic procrastination among class VI students at SDN 2 Kawasen. This research uses a phenomenological approach to explore teachers' perspectives and the impact of implementing outdoor study methods in reducing academic procrastination. The results of this research are that teachers at SDN 2 Kawasen show positive experiences in implementing outdoor study methods to overcome academic procrastination in class VI students. This method is proven to increase student motivation and engagement in completing their academic assignments on time. Teachers apply various strategies to utilize this method to overcome academic procrastination, including through activities that are interesting and relevant to the subject matter. It is hoped that this research will provide in-depth insight into how teachers can play a key role in overcoming academic procrastination at the elementary school level, as well as the relevance of innovative learning methods in the Indonesian educational context.
