Abstract

Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah membawa transformasi signifikan dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi peran strategis AI dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Melalui metode studi literatur dan analisis komparatif, penelitian meninjau potensi AI dalam mengoptimalkan proses belajar-mengajar, personalisasi materi pendidikan, dan pengembangan metode pengajaran yang inovatif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI dapat memberikan kontribusi fundamental dalam PAI melalui beberapa aspek kunci. Pertama, sistem AI mampu menghasilkan konten pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individual peserta didik, memungkinkan pendekatan yang lebih personal dan efektif. Kedua, teknologi AI dapat membantu guru dalam menganalisis kemajuan belajar siswa secara komprehensif, memberikan umpan balik real-time, dan mengidentifikasi area pengembangan yang spesifik. Implementasi AI dalam PAI mencakup penggunaan chatbot pintar untuk bimbingan keagamaan, platform pembelajaran adaptif, serta sistem penilaian yang lebih objektif dan komprehensif. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini juga menggarisbawahi pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan antara teknologi dan pendekatan humanis dalam pendidikan keagamaan.


The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant transformations in various fields, including education. This study aims to explore the strategic role of AI in improving the quality and effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. Through literature study methods and comparative analysis, the study reviews the potential of AI in optimizing the teaching and learning process, personalizing educational materials, and developing innovative teaching methods. The results of the study indicate that AI can provide fundamental contributions to PAI through several key aspects. First, AI systems are able to produce learning content that is tailored to the individual needs of students, enabling a more personalized and effective approach. Second, AI technology can help teachers analyze student learning progress comprehensively, provide real-time feedback, and identify specific areas of development. The implementation of AI in PAI includes the use of smart chatbots for religious guidance, adaptive learning platforms, and more objective and comprehensive assessment systems. However, this study also underlines the importance of maintaining a balance between technology and a humanistic approach in religious education.
