Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan kontrasepsi spiral dalam keluarga oleh wanita karir, dengan tinjauan terhadap hukum Islam dan dinamika sosial kontemporer. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana penggunaan kontrasepsi spiral dapat dibenarkan dalam hukum Islam, serta bagaimana penerapannya dalam konteks sosial dan budaya yang berkembang saat ini, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan kesetaraan gender dan peran ganda wanita karir. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur dan analisis normatif terhadap teks-teks hukum Islam terkait kontrasepsi dan peran wanita dalam masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam konteks wanita karir, penggunaan kontrasepsi spiral dipandang sebagai pilihan yang sah dalam Islam, dengan syarat tidak menahan kehamilan secara permanen dan selaras dengan prinsip maslahat (kemaslahatan). Penelitian ini juga menekankan pentingnya pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai dinamika sosial dan gender yang berkembang, yang berperan penting dalam menentukan kebijakan keluarga. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa hukum Islam dapat menawarkan solusi yang relevan dan adaptif terhadap tantangan kontemporer yang dihadapi oleh wanita karir dalam kehidupan mereka.
This study aims to analyze the use of spiral contraception in families by career women, with a review of Islamic law and contemporary social dynamics. The focus of this study is to explore the extent to which the use of spiral contraception can be justified in Islamic law, as well as how it is applied in the current developing social and cultural context, especially in facing the challenges of gender equality and the dual roles of career women. This study adopts a qualitative approach through literature studies and normative analysis of Islamic legal texts related to contraception and the role of women in society. The results of the study indicate that in the context of career women, the use of spiral contraception is seen as a legitimate choice in Islam, provided that it does not permanently inhibit pregnancy and is in line with the principle of maslahat (benefit). This study also emphasizes the importance of a deeper understanding of the developing social and gender dynamics, which play an important role in determining family policies. In addition, the results of this study confirm that Islamic law can offer relevant and adaptive solutions to contemporary challenges faced by career women in their lives.
