Abstract

Toleransi adalah fondasi untuk mewujudkan HAM (Hak Asasi Manusia) dan perdamaian. Intoleransi adalah pelanggaran pada kebebasan berkeyakinan dan beragama, terjadi karena kesalahpahaman komunikasi atau pendapat akibat perkembangan globalisasi saat ini. Multikulturalisme adalah perbedaan budaya di masyarakat terkini. Pada dasarnya, toleransi yaitu menghargai serta menghormati hak orang lain. Tujuan penulis melakukan pengabdian di masyarakat desa Suro – Tambak untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang dialami oleh masyarakat terkait dengan toleransi. tersebut. Era modern saat ini mempengaruhi sikap toleransi yang berdampak negatif pada intoleransi di masyarakat. Kurangnya sosialisasi tentang pengertian dan pemahaman toleransi beragama sejak dini menjadi salah satu alasan individu bersikap intoleransi. Adanya sikap intoleransi juga dapat disebabkan oleh sikap individualisme. Penulis melakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan menggunakan data kualitatif yaitu data yang bukan berupa angka, karena data yang dihasilkan lebih detail dan lebih rinci. Dari metode pengabdian masyarakat tersebut, penulis melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi untuk memupuk toleransi dan kegiatan gotong royong membersihkan tempat ibadah, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan toleransi di lingkungan masyarakat di Desa Suro - Tambak, Mojosongo, Boyolali.ungkin di Desa Suro - Tambak ada beberapa masyarakat yang sibuk bekerja sehingga tidak dapat dipungkiri  menimbulkan sikap individualis tersebut. Bagaimana pun mayoritas masyarakat di Desa Suro - Tambak memiliki toleransi yang kuat walaupun mereka berbeda agama.


Tolerance is the foundation for realizing human rights and peace. Multiculturalism is the cultural differences in current society. Basically, tolerance is respecting and respecting the rights of other people. The author's aim is to carry out community service in the Suro – Tambak village community to find out the problems experienced by the community related to tolerance. the. The current modern era influences attitudes of tolerance which have a negative impact on intolerance in society. Lack of socialization regarding the meaning and understanding of religious tolerance from an early age is one of the reasons individuals behave intolerantly. The existence of an attitude of intolerance can also be caused by an attitude of individualism.The author conducts community service using qualitative data, namely data that is not in the form of numbers, because the data produced is more detailed and more detailed. From the community service method, the author conducts socialization activities to foster tolerance and mutual cooperation activities to clean places of worship, which aim to increase tolerance in the community environment in Suro - Tambak Village, Mojosongo, Boyolali. Perhaps in Suro - Tambak Village there are some people who are busy working so that it is undeniable that this individualistic attitude arises. However, the majority of people in Suro - Tambak Village have strong tolerance even though they have different religions
