Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi pemikiran semantik Fayizad-Dayah dalam studi linguistik modern, dengan fokus pada penerapan pendekatan kontekstual, pragmatik, dan budaya dalam pemahaman makna bahasa. Dalam studi semantik, konteks sosial, budaya, dan pengalaman pribadi memegang peranan penting dalam memahami makna yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari faktor-faktor tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yang mengkaji pemikiran-pemikiran Fayizad-Dayah dalam kaitannya dengan teori semantik kontekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teori semantik Fayizad-Dayah memberikan perspektif yang lebih komprehensif terhadap makna dengan menekankan pentingnya hubungan antara bahasa dan konteks sosial serta budaya, yang relevan dengan perkembangan linguistik modern, terutama dalam studi bahasa Arab.
This study aims to analyze the contribution of Fayizad-Dayah's semantic thinking in modern linguistic studies, focusing on the application of contextual, pragmatic, and cultural approaches in understanding language meaning. In semantic studies, social, cultural, and personal experience contexts play a crucial role in understanding meaning, which cannot be separated from these factors. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, which examines Fayizad-Dayah's ideas in relation to contextual semantic theory. The research findings show that Fayizad-Dayah's semantic theory offers a more comprehensive perspective on meaning by emphasizing the importance of the relationship between language and social as well as cultural contexts, which is relevant to the development of modern linguistics, especially in Arabic language studies.
