Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji dimensi filosofis dalam studi tafsir Al-Quran dengan fokus pada tiga aspek utama: ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi, serta aktualisasinya dalam konteks keilmuan modern. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research, penelitian ini menganalisis sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder terkait metodologi tafsir klasik dan kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi ontologis dalam studi tafsir berkaitan dengan pemahaman Al-Quran sebagai teks yang memiliki dimensi ilahiah dan insaniah. Aspek epistemologis mengungkapkan perkembangan metodologi dari tafsir tradisional menuju pendekatan yang lebih integratif, seperti teori "double movement" dan pendekatan linguistik-scientific. Sementara dimensi aksiologis menekankan pentingnya orientasi praksis dan transformatif dalam penafsiran kontemporer. Integrasi ketiga dimensi filosofis ini telah menghasilkan pengembangan metodologi tafsir yang lebih komprehensif dan responsif terhadap tantangan zaman. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada penguatan fondasi teoretis studi tafsir dan membuka jalan bagi pengembangan metodologi yang lebih integratif dalam menghadapi kompleksitas persoalan kontemporer.
This research examines the philosophical dimensions in Quranic exegesis (tafsir) studies with a focus on three main aspects: ontology, epistemology, and axiology, as well as their actualization in the context of modern scholarship. Using a qualitative method with a library research approach, this study analyzes primary and secondary sources related to classical and contemporary tafsir methodologies. The research findings show that the ontological dimension in tafsir studies relates to understanding the Quran as a text with both divine and human dimensions. The epistemological aspect reveals the methodological development from traditional tafsir towards more integrative approaches, such as the "double movement" theory and linguistic-scientific approach. Meanwhile, the axiological dimension emphasizes the importance of praxis-oriented and transformative orientation in contemporary interpretation. The integration of these three philosophical dimensions has resulted in the development of a more comprehensive and responsive tafsir methodology to contemporary challenges. This research contributes to strengthening the theoretical foundation of tafsir studies and paves the way for developing more integrative methodologies in addressing the complexity of contemporary issues.
