Abstract

Pentingnya komunikasi efektif dalam membangun hubungan yang sehat di SMK Negeri 1 Kaliwungu. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini menggali secara mendalam fenomena komunikasi di lingkungan sekolah, khususnya dalam konteks pembentukan hubungan yang sehat antara guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan dalam gaya komunikasi, latar belakang budaya, dan persepsi seringkali menjadi penghalang dalam komunikasi yang efektif. Jurnal ini mengidentifikasi bahwa komunikasi yang efektif membutuhkan kombinasi elemen verbal dan non-verbal, serta keterampilan mendengarkan aktif dan memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif. Pentingnya empati dalam komunikasi juga ditekankan, di mana empati memungkinkan seseorang untuk memahami perspektif orang lain dan membangun koneksi emosional yang kuat. Jurnal ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan literasi budaya, penggunaan bahasa yang sederhana dan jelas, serta pengembangan keterampilan mendengarkan aktif dan memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif merupakan strategi penting untuk mengatasi kendala komunikasi dan membangun hubungan yang lebih harmonis dan produktif di lingkungan sekolah.


Importance of effective communication in building healthy relationships at SMK Negeri 1 Kaliwungu. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, this research delves into the phenomenon of communication within the school environment, particularly in the context of fostering healthy relationships between teachers and students. The findings reveal that differences in communication styles, cultural backgrounds, and perceptions often act as barriers to effective communication. The journal identifies that effective communication requires a combination of verbal and non-verbal elements, as well as active listening skills and providing constructive feedback. The importance of empathy in communication is also emphasized, where empathy enables individuals to understand others' perspectives and build strong emotional connections. This journal concludes that enhancing cultural literacy, using simple and clear language, and developing active listening and constructive feedback skills are crucial strategies to overcome communication barriers and build more harmonious and productive relationships within the school environment.
