Abstract
Kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur'an merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan pesantren dan dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti Kecerdasan Emosional dan Budaya Pesantren. Kecerdasan Emosional mencakup kemampuan mengenali dan mengelola emosi yang membantu meningkatkan fokus dan ketekunan santri dalam menghafal. Budaya Pesantren mendukung lingkungan yang kondusif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur'an.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional dan Budaya Pesantren terhadap kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur'an santri di Pondok Pesantren Ibnu Sabil dan Nurul Ichsan, Kota Bontang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis data melalui statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan IBM SPSS 25. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 95 santri kelas VII-XII, dan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi serta dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kecerdasan Emosional dan Budaya Pesantren secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur'an, baik secara individual maupun simultan. Nilai signifikansi masing-masing adalah 0.017 untuk Kecerdasan Emosional dan 0.009 untuk Budaya Pesantren, lebih kecil dari 0.05. Secara simultan, uji F menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0.000 dan F hitung 9.539, membuktikan bahwa kedua variabel ini memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur'an santri.
The ability to memorize the Qur'an is an important aspect of pesantren education and is influenced by factors such as Emotional Intelligence and Pesantren Culture. Emotional Intelligence includes the ability to recognize and manage emotions that help increase the focus and perseverance of students in memorizing. This study aims to analyze the effect of Emotional Intelligence and Boarding School Culture on the ability to memorize the Qur'an of students at Ibnu Sabil and Nurul Ichsan Islamic Boarding Schools, Bontang City. The method used is quantitative with data analysis through descriptive and inferential statistics using IBM SPSS 25. The research sample consisted of 95 students in grades VII-XII, and data were collected through observation and documentation.The results showed that Emotional Intelligence and Boarding School Culture significantly influenced the ability to memorize the Qur'an, both individually and simultaneously. The significance value of each is 0.017 for Emotional Intelligence and 0.009 for Boarding School Culture, smaller than 0.05. Simultaneously, the F test shows a significance value of 0.000 and F count of 9,539, proving that these two variables have a significant influence on the ability to memorize the Qur'an of students.
