Abstract
Artikel ini mengeksplorasi konsep pendidikan perdamaian yang tercermin dalam Surat Al-Hujurat ayat 9 dan 10. Ayat-ayat ini menyoroti pentingnya menyelesaikan konflik di antara orang-orang yang beriman dengan keadilan dan kejujuran, menekankan perlunya persaudaraan yang kuat dan kesadaran akan Tuhan dalam menjaga perdamaian. Penelitian ini menggali penafsiran tematik dari ayat-ayat tersebut, dengan mengambil dari kesarjanaan Islam klasik untuk memahami prinsip-prinsip pendidikan perdamaian dalam Islam. Penelitian ini juga membahas bagaimana prinsip-prinsip ini dapat diterapkan dalam lingkungan pendidikan kontemporer untuk menumbuhkan budaya perdamaian di kalangan siswa. Dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keadilan, persaudaraan, dan kesalehan, pendidikan perdamaian berdasarkan Surat Al-Hujurat dapat secara signifikan berkontribusi dalam membangun masyarakat yang harmonis. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan ajaran-ajaran ini dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sangat penting untuk mengembangkan individu yang berkomitmen untuk menegakkan perdamaian dan keadilan di masyarakat. Temuan penelitian ini memiliki implikasi bagi para pendidik, pembuat kebijakan, dan pemimpin agama dalam mempromosikan masyarakat yang lebih damai dan adil.
This article explores the concept of peace education as reflected in Surah Al-Hujurat, verses 9 and 10. These verses highlight the importance of resolving conflicts among believers with justice and fairness, emphasizing the need for strong brotherhood and God-consciousness in maintaining peace. The research delves into the thematic interpretation of these verses, drawing from classical Islamic scholarship to understand the principles of peace education in Islam. The study also discusses how these principles can be applied in contemporary educational settings to foster a culture of peace among students. By integrating the values of justice, brotherhood, and piety, peace education based on Surah Al-Hujurat can significantly contribute to building harmonious communities. The article concludes that the application of these teachings in daily life is crucial for developing individuals who are committed to upholding peace and justice in society. The findings of this study have implications for educators, policymakers, and religious leaders in promoting a more peaceful and just society.
