Bahasa inggris adalah ilmu alat yang perlu dimiliki oleh seorang muslim pada zaman ini, fungsi bahasa inggris adalah sebagai alat pengungkap realitas dan ilmu pengetahuan di abad 21 juga sebagai alat untuk mendakwahkan agama Islam secara global. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui metode pembelajaran bahasa Inggris tingkat SMP di Nuraida Islamic Boarding School Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik wawancara. Peneliti mendapatkan bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa inggris Nuraida Islamic Boarding School Tingkat SMP menggunakan metode jigsaw, metode penugasan descriptive text, dan metode demonstration.
Abstract
English is a science that needs to be owned by a Muslim at this time, the function of English is as a tool for revealing reality and science in the 21st century as well as a tool for preaching Islam globally. The purpose of this study was to find out the method of learning English at the junior high school level at Nuraida Islamic Boarding School Bogor. The research method used by the author is a qualitative descriptive research method. The author used an interview technique to collect data which needed in the field. The author found that in the process of learning English, Nuraida Islamic Boarding School at the Junior High School level used the jigsaw method, the descriptive text assignment method, and the demonstration method.
