Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran pendidikan orang tua terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan emosional anak usia sekolah dasar di SD Inpres Keong Sano nggoang, serta seberapa besar manfaat peran pendidikan orang tua tersebut terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan emosional anak usia sekolah dasar di SD Inpres Keong Sano Nggoang Manggarai Barat. Berdasarkan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Pertama: ada banyak hal yang dilakukan para orang tua untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional anak usia sekolah dasar di SD Inpres Keong Sano Nggoang. Kedua, terdapat orang tua yang kurang peduli dengan kecerdasan emosional anak, belum mampu memberikan tauladan yang baik buat anaknya, memperlakukan anak usia sekolah dasar layaknya orang dewasa, sehingga emosional anak kurang aktif dan tertekan
This study aims to find out the role of parental education in increasing the emotional intelligence of elementary school-age children at SD Inpres Keong Sano nggoang, and how much the role of parental education benefits the improvement of the emotional intelligence of elementary school-age children at SD Inpres Keong Sano Nggoang Manggarai Barat. Based on the analysis of the data used in this study, it can be concluded that: First: there are many things that parents do to improve the emotional intelligence of elementary school-aged children at SD Inpres Keong Sano Nggoang. Second, there are parents who do not care about their children's emotional intelligence, have not been able to set a good example for their children, treat elementary school-age children like adults, so that children are less emotionally active and depressed
