Abstract
Mengkaji sejarah pemikiran pendidikan al-Qadhi Badruddin Ibnu Jama’ah merupakan bagian dari menapaki jejak khazanah pemikiran ulama di bidang pendidikan yang amat berharga. Konsep pemikiran pendidikannya, banyak ia tuangkan dalam karyanya, Tadzkirat al-Sâmi’ wa al-Mutakallim fî Adab al-’Âlim wa al-Muta’allim, di dalamnya ia menyoroti konsep adab (etika) ulama dan peserta didik, materi pelajaran dan konsep kurikulum, pendekatan pembelajaran dan lingkungan pendidikan. Kelebihannya, jika kita telusuri, konsep pemikiran pendidikan al-Qadhi Badruddin Ibnu Jama’ah menggabungkan antara kepakarannya di bidang akhlak dan fikih, itulah yang kita temukan dalam konsep pemikiran pendidikannya.Penelitian ini fokus menela’ah buku Tadzkirat-nya, dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research).
