Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendid MI IT Cahaya Hati Sawangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara kepada kepala lokasi penelitian. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah telah melakukan berbagai upaya dan berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MI IT Cahaya Hati Sawangan. Upaya yang dilakukan meliputi beberapa peran penting dalam penyelenggaraan dan pengelolaan madrasah baik oleh guru, siswa, sarana prasarana dan pendukung sekolah lainnya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah peran kepala sekolah sangat penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan peran kepala sekolah sebagai pendidik, pemimpin, administrator, pengawas, leader, inovator dan juga motivasi.
his research aims to determine and describe the role of school principals in improving the quality of MI IT Cahaya Hati Sawangan education. The research method used in this research is qualitative descriptive research using observation and interview techniques with the head of the research location. The results obtained show that the principal has made various efforts and contributed to improving the quality of education at MI IT Cahaya Hati Sawangan. The efforts made include several important roles in the administration and management of madrasas by teachers, students, infrastructure and other school supporters. The conclusion of this research is that the role of the principal is very important in improving the quality of education and the role of the principal as an educator, leader, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and also motivation.
