Peran Pondok Pesantren dalam Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Masyarakat di Kabupaten Subang Jawa Barat (Analisis Implementasi Undang-Undang Nomor 18 Tahun 2019 Pasal 45)

Abstract

Potensi pesantren sebagai fungsi pemberdayaan masyarakat  didukung oleh Konstitusi melalui Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia tentang Pesantren (UU R.I) Nomor 18 Tahun 2019, keterlibatan pondok pesantren dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui sektor ekonomi, menciptakan suatu kondisi dimana peran pondok tidak hanya sebatas sebagai lumbung dari ilmu agama saja ataupun sebagai lembaga yang bergelut dalam dunia keagamaan saja, akan tetapi dengan adanya pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat yang ditimbulkan oleh peran pondok pesantren, menegaskan bahwa pondok pesantren mampu menjadi sebuah lembaga yang mandiri berdikari dan solutif. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menganalisis peran pondok pesantren dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat di kabupaten subang jawa barat. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Kunir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Deskriptif-Kualitatif studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Sumber data primer adalah pimpinan pesantren, sedangkan data sekunder berupa ialah dokumentasi, civitas akademik pondok pesantren Darussalam kunir dan masyarakat sekitar. Hasil akhir penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peran pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat oleh Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Kunir. Bentuk pemberdayaan berupa pelatihan dan praktik kerja lapangan; penguatan potensi dan kapasitas ekonomi Pesantren dan masyarakat; pendirian koperasi, lembaga keuangan, dan Lembaga usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah; pemberian pinjaman, bantuan keuangan; dan pelaksanaan kegiatan sosial kemasyarakatan. Berdasarkan kajian pustaka mengenai konsep pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat menyatakan bahwa pemberdayaan adalah sebuah proses memberi daya atau kekuatan yaitu Bagaimana memberikan peluang kepada masyarakat agar bisa menjadi mandiri.

This research intends to analyze the role of Pondok Pesantren in empowering the community economy in Subang Regency, West Java. The research was carried out at the Darussalam Kunir Islamic Pondok Pesantren. The research method used is a descriptive-qualitative case study method. Data collection techniques through interviews and observation. The primary data source is the leadership of the Islamic Pondok Pesantren, while the secondary data consists of documentation, the academic community of the Darussalam Kunir Islamic Pondok Pesantren and the surrounding community. The final results of this research indicate the role of community economic empowerment by the Darussalam Kunir Islamic Pondok Pesantren. Forms of empowerment include training and field work practices; strengthening the economic potential and capacity of Pondok Pesantren and the community; establishment of cooperatives, financial institutions and micro, small and medium enterprise institutions; granting loans, financial assistance; and implementation of social activities. Based on a literature review regarding the concept of community economic empowerment, it states that empowerment is a process of providing power or strength, namely how to provide opportunities for communities to become independent.
