Permasalahan kepribadian patut diperhatikan oleh siapapun, karena kemerosotan di bidang tersebut bisa menimpa siapa saja, dan berakibat kekacauan dan berkurangnya keberkahan. Apabila yang mengalami masalah pada kepribadian itu seorang guru atau pendidik, akan menjadi persoalan yang semakin besar lagi, karena efeknya tak hanya untuk pribadinya saja tapi juga anak didik yang para orangtuanya banyak menggantungkan harapan kepada mereka. Pembahasan pada penelitian ini berkisar pada konsep kompetensi kepribadian guru yang merupakan amanah undang-undang, faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi suatu kepribadian, dan indikator-indikator seorang guru dikatakan berkompeten secara kepribadian, juga konsep asmaul husna, sebagai nilai-nilai ilahi yang kita diperintah untuk ta’abbud dengannya dan diyakini mengandung nilai-nilai kepribadian yang mulia, hingga diharapkan memperkuat kompetensi dimaksud. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan model studi kepustakaan (library research), di mana peneliti sebagai instrumen utamanya. Penulis memilih salah satu asmaul husna sebagai objek kajian, yaitu nama Allah “al-Shamad”, karena maknanya yang luas dan dianggap refresentatif, dan didapati dari satu nama yang agung ini nilai-nilai karakter yang memadai untuk memperkuat kompetensi kepribadian guru sebagaimana yang diharapkan.
Abstract
Personality problems deserve attention by anyone, because deterioration in this field can happen to anyone, and result in chaos and reduced blessings. If the person experiencing personality problems is a teacher or educator, it will become an even bigger problem, because the effect is not only for personalities but also for students whose parents depend a lot on them. The discussion in this study revolves around the concept of teacher personality competence which is the mandate of law, factors that can influence a personality, and indicators of a teacher who is said to be personally competent, also the concept of Asmaul Husna, as divine values that we are governed by. for ta'abbud with it and it is believed to contain noble personality values, so that it is expected to strengthen the said competence. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research model, in which the researcher is the main instrument. The author chooses one of the Asmaul Husna as the object of study, namely the name Allah "al-Shamad", because of its broad meaning and is considered to be representative, and it is found that from this great name the character values are sufficient to strengthen the teacher's personality competence as expected.
